i woudnt suppose there is any kind of ext2reiser converter, am i correct?

Tried searching for something to use for conversion before, but didnt find any. The only sure way is to reformat.

I knew it existed and after searching a bit I found it. Here is a link to a comparison and benchmark done between the different file systems. I hope it helps.

I use ReiserFS (v3) on every Slackware system I run. I have had very very few problems with it, the only issues being related to two flakey PCI slots in my server. a fsck.reiserfs --rebuild-tree fixed everything once I figured out what was going on with the SATA controller.
