Question Which compile options should I use for an Intel Core i5 2.52GHz chip?

I'm presently attempting to write a simple SlackBuild script template, but I'm not sure what options I should set for SLKCFLAGS.

In particular, I'm not sure which "cpu-type" to select for -march or -mtune. The gcc manual says that -march implies -mtune... if I specify -march do I need to specify -mtune? If I do specify -mtune, what should I use?

Thanks for any advice you can give,
-wisakedjak

I follow the example of the official SlackBuilds.org templates, even for SlackBuilds that I don't submit to them:

http://slackbuilds.org/templates/aut...ate.SlackBuild
http://slackbuilds.org/templates/cma...ate.SlackBuild

The recommended SLKCFLAGS are in there. Those are also the same ones used for almost all of Slackware's official packages.
