During installation, Slackware (14.2) offers to automatically mount non-system partitions. It gives the user several choices for access (such as "read-only for all", "writeable by all", "writeable for root, read-only for everybody else").
I want to know exactly what lines in
/etc/fstab does each choice in Slackware's setup menu generate, in particular the file and dir masks (fmask, dmask).
For example, having chosen "writeable by all" for a FAT32 partition, this line was generated:
Code:
/dev/sda2 /EXAMPLE vfat fmask=111,dmask=000 1 0
So "fmask=111,dmask=000" are the default for the "writeable by all" option. But what are the default masks for the other options?
