What are the default mask values in fstab (by setup choice)?

During installation, Slackware (14.2) offers to automatically mount non-system partitions. It gives the user several choices for access (such as "read-only for all", "writeable by all", "writeable for root, read-only for everybody else").

I want to know exactly what lines in /etc/fstab does each choice in Slackware's setup menu generate, in particular the file and dir masks (fmask, dmask).

For example, having chosen "writeable by all" for a FAT32 partition, this line was generated:

Code:
/dev/sda2 /EXAMPLE vfat fmask=111,dmask=000 1 0
So "fmask=111,dmask=000" are the default for the "writeable by all" option. But what are the default masks for the other options?

whansard, I understand what the number masks are for.

I am asking specifically what default masks Slackware setup uses. I do not want to go through the Slackware setup again just to see what masks it uses when, for example, I choose the "read-only for all" option for an NTFS partition. Can I have a list please?

According to the setup script at SlackDVD/isolinux/initrd->/usr/lib/setup/SeTDOS:36:

Code:
"fmask=177,dmask=077" "Root has read/write access, users have no access (ntfs-3g)" \
"fmask=333,dmask=222" "Everyone has read only access (built-in kernel ntfs driver)" \
"fmask=133,dmask=022" "Everyone has read access, but only root can write (ntfs-3g)" \
"fmask=111,dmask=000" "All users can read/write to any file (ntfs-3g)" \
Even though I seem to remember the exact setup message was different, thus hinting that a different script may have been used instead of the one I found, I assume that the mask defaults remain the same. Hence I'm marking this thread as "solved".
