The last several builds of VirtualBox, including the recent Stable release, with as many different kernels, all rebuild their kernel modules each time the computer reboots.
Has anyone else experienced this behavior?

Yes, to fix it preload the vboxdrv module on boot. Add "/sbin/modprobe vboxdrv" to /etc/rc.d/rc.modules.local.

The problem appears to have been fixed with the 6.1.27-146035 test build.
