Got the SlackBuild from

as well as the rest of the files there

QT5 is installed as well as multilib

The kernel module compiles does that need to be installed first, I don't remember that being the case.

There is an option of rather than trouble shooting the script (a worthy endeavour of course) simply install from the binary on the VirtualBox website. I have just finished doing this on the latest -current:

I'm at ChangeLog.txt "Thu Aug 19 05:17:32 UTC 2021"

6.1.22 is a bit out of date, current release is 6.1.26, I'm on test branch 6.1.27 because that fixed a rebuild kernel modules on every boot. All is working well here. I am using the blob.
