Question /var/tmp/kdecache getting extremely large?

I have noticed that /var/tmp/kdecache-$USER gets larger the longer uptime I have on my machine. Sometimes it's only 200megs or so and other times it gets up over 2gigs. Is this normal and is there someway to move the cache folder? I only really noticed it after I rebuilt my machine with a SSD so I have been watching my disk space closely.

You should be able to move the cache folder by putting
Code:
export KDEVARTMP=/path/to/where/you/want/it
in your .bashrc
