Don't know how you setup your firewall.
Perhaps in
Code:
/etc/rc.d/rc.firewall
Kind regards

Problem is that i don`t remember editing anything firewall related, neither installing one, and the command that you gave return no such file or directory

KMyFirewall is a good KDE firewall application you can use. It'll sort everything out into categories and you should be able to just allow the ports or applications you need.

I'd recommend transmission if you want a good GUI bittorrent client.

What is the output from
Code:
iptables -L
Is this at your home?
Perhaps you need to open the ports on the router.

Kind regards

Code:
root@Bller:/home/bller# iptables -L
Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination

Chain FORWARD (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination

Chain OUTPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination
I`ve oppened up a port in my router, and tried to add it to the setup guide, but it still finds it not open.

There is no firewall active.
You need to forward the port on the router to your computer.
Could it be, your provider is blocking these ports?

Kind regards

No we (still) have freedom to p2p, and i forwarded a bunch of ports and tried them all, with no result !

LE : It seems that it works now, it`s downloading, at a pretty slow speed, but downloading.

It depends on your client which port to forward, they must match.
In general there is an option to test if the port is open.

Kind regards
