Using the new kernel 5.15 ntfs3 driver?

Now that kernel 5.15 has a new shiny ntfs implementation that is said to be superior to the reliable but slow ntfs-3g I thought I would try it out. I changed my one ntfs partition in fstab from ntfs to ntfs3 and mounted it. That seemed to work, but I would like new ntfs3 to be the default if I plug in a usb flash drive. This is not that important but I am curious to see if it is faster. I just not 100% sure on how to change the default to the new ntfs3.

Any help is appreciated.
