USB Modem


The Slackware doesn't detect my USB External 56K Fax Modem. What should I do if dial from minicom doesn't work//. And I'm not sure the modem isn't Winmodem...

Hi,

It would be helpful if you could open a root shell and type the command 'lsusb', then post the result. That should identify the exact device.
