Upgrading info please

I am running 10 or 10.5 or 11, not sure.

Anyway there used to be specific instructions on upgrading
at slackware.org. I can't find them. Can you do the same type of upgrade going from 2.4.31 to 2.6.XXX?

Anyone know where those instructions went?

Thanks

UPGRADE.TXT is on any Slackware mirror, e.g. ftp://ftp.mirrorservice.org/sites/ft....0/UPGRADE.TXT.

If you're not sure what version of Slackware you are running, it is pretty predictable that an upgrade will kill your box - please consider a full re-install and try to save /home and /etc (and perhaps /var/log/packages) which likely contain stuff you don't want to lose.

Yeah, probably should. Been running slack for about 12 years now and
did the upgrade procedure twice I think. But I have installed so many
updates to this version I don't know what I'm running any more.

Anyway good advice. Think I'll take it.
