Upgrade Slackware 9.1 to 10.0 or 10.2 ?

Hi !

I'm slackware user, now with 9.1 version. I want to update to 10.2, but can i do this direct to that version, or before its required to install 10.0 ?

I've never done it myself, however, I do not see any particular reason you should not be able to do that.
Perhaps it would help if you use something like "Slapt" or "Swaret".

Following instructions in UPGRADE.TXT should do the job.
Just don't forget to first upgrade glibc-solibs, pkgtools and sed packages in this order.
There is no black magic in Slackware

I tried to upgrade directly from 9.1 to 10.1 using UPGRADE.TXT as a guide and I ended up with a broken system. It seemed as if the 10.1 upgrade was expecting certain package to be there and I had error messages during the upgrade.

Perhaps I did something else wrong but my experience with jumping a level is bad.
