Customizing my Fluxbox again, this is what I have so far, what do you think? I am using the development branch of Fluxbox where having buttons on toolbar which execute customized application is possible (like a launcher on toolbar)!

That is indeed gorgeous wallpaper STDOUBT. I am curious though why 32 bit?
I have a very similar classic laptop, a T61P, which I bought used because 1) I rarely use laptops, and 2) that vintage is pre Intel MCE (I always think of it as MCP from Tron). Xmonad is a great idea for running new OS on old hardware. I may try that. I was kind of hoping that Enlightenment would get the toggle thing to switch between DE and Tiling down by now but last I checked it wasn't toggling yet.

It is!
I'm sticking with 32 bit for now since my daily driver (this laptop) is maxed at 4GB RAM.
While I know 64 bit Slackware would play nice enough for most, the way I use my computer
(yes, about a decade ago I decided that a laptop can qualify as a computer 64 bit gets
bogged down on the old thing. I'm one of those 300+ tabs open, never closes my browser type people and I usually pack my RAM pretty full. 32 bit is just more responsive in
my situation. I also loathe the idea of buying anything with a chicklet keyboard.
Curmudgeoney and set in my ways I guess.
As an aside, I switched to a laptop for the power savings and the noise reduction.
Was never able to achieve a silent desktop machine that satisfied my performance
expectations. I'm sure that'd easier nowadays, but I have an old tower for the occasional game of 0AD, and this thinkpad has just grown on me :-)
BTW - I always loved e! But Xmonad is just so...configure and forget!
LOL! It'd been so long since anyone else has referenced anything to do with the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers that I wasn't even thinking about it. Good catch and thanks!!
Oh, and apologies to the thread for these few posts of ours if they messed with the flow of things.
