Year 2023, Round 46
Another batch of updates has been scheduled for release on Wednesday, 30 August 2023, at approximately 10:00, GMT. If no problems are found while testing the release candidates, they might be available sometime on Tuesday (depending on your time zone).
Distribution: Slackware64-current with "True Multilib" and KDE4Town.

WINE still doesn't work nor does dosemu.
Tried to build a "new" version of dosemu from SBo, but it returned the error,
Hrm. I wonder if it's your kernel config? I asked around in the gamingonlinux discord, and a couple people are on the 6.5 kernel and were using WINE. (Admittedly one was using 8.14.)
Just built and installed the 6.5.0 kernel, but nothing has changed.
WINE still doesn't work nor does dosemu.
Tried to build a "new" version of dosemu from SBo, but it returned the error,
interesting, Just built 6.5 and vanilla Wine, dosbox and Proton-wine all run without an hitch on Current with multilib
Just a thought! There was a new option running make oldconfig that config_unix defaults to no if you had built as a module previously. That may of screwed something up.

With the 6.5.0 kernel dosbox works, but dosemu does not work. WINE-8.14 does not work nor does any previous version of WINE.
However, with the 6.4.12 kernel and the 6.1.46 kernel, everything works as it should.

I think that the (valid) question was: did you run diff on the config files 6.5 vs 6.4.12.
