Code:
With the next Linux kernel cycle we could see upstream disable their driver support for
Microsoft's Remote Network Driver Interface Specification (RNDIS) protocol due to security concerns.

Year 2023, Round 3.
Another batch of updates has been scheduled for release on Thursday, 12 January 2023, at approximately 18:00, GMT. If no problems are found while testing the release candidates, they might be available sometime on Wednesday (depending on your time zone).

NOTE, this will probably be the LAST 6.0.y release. If there is
anything preventing you from moving to 6.1.y right now, please let me
know.......
I'm currently workaround-ing this by disabling the acpi backlight control with acpi_backlight=none.
/sys/class/backlight/amdgpu_bl0/ is still available and works.
6.1.4 broke my workaround on hp laptop/ryzen, using acpi_backlight=none neither acpi or amdgpu was available anymore inside /sys/class/backlight/.
So i had to switch to acpi_backlight=native.
Linux 6.0.19

Note, this is the LAST 6.0.y kernel release. All users must move to the
6.1.y branch at this point in time, as this branch is now end-of-life.

I had to rebuild the NVidia Blob after switching back to 6.1.5 from 5.15.87 -- it could not find the kernel modules.

Without any apparent issue until now
Secure Display is an improved HDCP technology brought to us by the Hollywood Godfathers.
Apparently, your laptop does not qualify for it, so ... probably soon this will mean: no legal movies for you!

Well, of course. That is the usual procedure, at least I've always had to rebuild the driver when switching kernels, regardless of which version. Can't remember a time when that wasn't the case.

Thanks cwizardone.
I had already built the modules for 6.1.5 before I built 5.15.87 so I assumed they would be in /lib/modules/`uname -r`/
