Barring an unexpected complication, the 5.14.0 kernel should be released the day after tomorrow (Sunday).
With that in mind, here are some interesting 5.14 kernel SSD Benchmarks with Btrfs vs. EXT4 vs. F2FS vs. XFS. All very interesting (IMHO ). https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?pa...4-File-Systems

Year 2021, Round 59.
Another batch of updates has been scheduled for release on Friday, 3 September 2021, at approximately 12:00, GMT. If no problems are found while testing the release candidates, they might be available sometime on Thursday (depending on your time zone).
All of them have the "Revert "floppy: reintroduce O_NDELAY fix" and several have a few file system patches.
Distribution: Slackware64-current with "True Multilib" and KDE4Town.
