sysinit

Hi

I want to enable num lock on boot. Told to modify /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit.. I can not find it...What I find is /etc/rc.d/rc.sysVinit. It is described as application/x-shellscript., not a plain text document.

Help

Thanks

right, it has to be a shell script (I guess).
it must be executable, right?
but you can open it from the commandline, can't you?
try "pico /etc/rc.d/rc.sysVinit"
that should leave you with a really easy to use editor
