From your first post I noticed from posted log, your laptop is Asus.
This manufacturer is known of excellent hardware but very bad temperature control. Take a look at other forums.
I own excellent Wifi router with known temperature problems. So I plugged in a small 5V vent and put it on the back side of router where venting slots are located.

So you probably have a laptop with bad cooling design.

The above not mentioned (possible) cooling design is cooling through keyboard.
I noticed several such designed laptops.

At work, where we use external monitors, I always suggest coworkers NOT to close the lid due to possible overheating.

Especially excellent temperature control is very important on laptops with separate graphic cards that could dissipate a lot of energy (temperature).
So If you own such a laptop, do not close the lid, unless the machine is powered off.
