Cool sun webserver6.1 run flawlessly on slack9.1+

For those might be interested on deploying java object (without ejb), now it is easier possible without to integrated apache+tomcat.

I've tried the trial version of sun webserver 6.1. It installed flawlessly without any complain on 9.1-current, I even forced it to use the j2sdk1.4.2 on slack instead of the 1.4.1_02 delivered with it (it prerequired redhat server 2.1).

Sun even claim it to be faster than apache+tomcat, can read from there :

http://wwws.sun.com/software/product..._web_srvr.html

For deploying ejb "Application Server is needed".
Happy javing ..

Gonna try a little deploying later ..

That package for unix platform is in a tar-ball, a good sign for slack ? previously sun-packages was often in rpm..
