that is the saying .. if you want to learn GNU/Linux run Slackware, if you want to learn Ubuntutu run Ubuntututu etc ...
I think that I have been running everything other then Slackware, as I use to run Slack then just grew tired of having to type a lot when adding software, and that sudo bit slipped my mind, got use to it working as su does in all of the other distros I've tried etc..
