Start/stop services on start-up

Is there a command called "setup" in Slackware that we can run to choose which services are to be started during system start-up? If there isn't, how should we do this manually, or through other commands?

Thanks.

I did this by editing /etc/inetd.conf, and /etc/rc.d/rc.inet2. I also made copies of these files in case I messed something up!

Thanks, wallison. I will try to look through the files. Just wondered if there are other ways to do it more safely and simply.

Koyi, most the information you need is in the files named /etc/rc.d/rc.inet1, rc.inet2, etc...

For more information, please read the Slackware book:
http://www.slackware.com/book/

[especially in the sections regarding the Network configuration, see below:]
