sshd restart

yesterday I had to make some changes to sshd.conf which is on a remote computer and I did it through ssh. But to take effect I had to restart sshd. Is there any way to restart the daemon without restarting the computer?

Yeap, /etc/rc.d/rc.sshd restart
Most init scripts take a restart command as parameter that will basically do /etc/rc.d/rc.sshd stop && /etc/rc.d/rc.sshd start
Just take a look at it.
