SpamAssassin and Parser

In trying to get SpamAssassin to install, I came across this problem

Code:
kristijan@neo:~/downloads/Mail-SpamAssassin-2.63$ perl Makefile.PL
What email address or URL should be used in the suspected-spam report
text for users who want more information on your filter installation?
(In particular, ISPs should change this to a local Postmaster contact)
default text: [the administrator of that system]

Warning: prerequisite HTML::Parser 3.24 not found.
Writing Makefile for Mail::SpamAssassin
Makefile written by ExtUtils::MakeMaker 6.03
kristijan@neo:~/downloads/Mail-SpamAssassin-2.63$
Ok, now I have googled, and have found what I think is Parser ... but I don't know where/what to do with the files.

Code:
kristijan@neo:~/downloads/phphtmlparser$ ls
CVS/  LICENSE*  README*  release.sh*  src/
The README dosn't make all that much sence to me either

Code:
HTML Parser for PHP 4
---------------------

This is a simple PHP based HTML parser.

How to Use
----------

Simply copy src/htmlparser.inc to a location in your
codebase where you'd like to be able to include it.
The PHP file which uses the parser might look like
this:

<?
  include ("htmlparser.inc");

  $htmlText = "... HTML text here ...";
  HtmlParser parser = new HtmlParser ($htmlText);
  while ($parser->parse()) {

      // Data you can use here:
      //
      // $parser->iNodeType
      // $parser->iNodeName
      // $parser->iNodeValue
      // $parser->iNodeAttributes

  }

You will find additional documentation for each
field in the source code.

?>
Anyone have any idea on how to get past this problem?

PS: Running Slackware 9.1

I don't know if you use Evolution, but if you do, this is all you (should) need : http://www.atlantawebhost.com/articl...amassassin.php

Good luck with it. Speaking for myself, these instructions were spot on, and after a few weeks of "training" SA, it correctly identifies approx >90% of spam. At this point I've seen zero false postives, but a few spams do get through as ham. Overall though SA totally rocks and I'd recommend it. -- J.W.

Hmm - well I don't know about that error. I used Dropline to install Evolution and everything went smoothly. If you're open to using Dropline perhaps using it to install Evolution may be helpful. http://www.dropline.net/gnome/download.php Personally I think Dropline is great, and I'd recommend it. Good luck with the project. -- J.W.
