soundserver (artsd) crashes in KDE (slack-current)

Hi!

I just finished fresh install of slackware-current. Soundserver crashes immediately after KDE start.

Sound works fine in Gnome.

Does anyone have any idea?

THX!

What does /var/log/messages say? Is there a error message? Have you md5 checked your kde packages?

Problem is solved. I don't know the reason, but some xine libs were incorrectly installed (md5 was ok). After reinstalation everything works fine.

Surprising for me is that I did noy find any log message saying there is problem with some lib. I found it trying to start some sound related application from command line...
