I upgraded the standard kde from 9.1 with the new packages for kde 3.2.0 but after the upgradepkg *.tgz I had no sound in kde anymore.
What could have gone wrong?! Or how can I fix this problem???
Of course, that was one of the first things I did. The strange thing is that root has sound, only the other users don't have sound. With the other use he complains something about permission denied and soundserver...
well, /dev/dsp and /dev/mixer are in the "sys" group
you may need to add your users to this group in order
for them to access/use these devices.............
