Some threads to stick ?

Do some people, like me, think that there are certain threads that would be interesting to stick?

Some suggestions :

Using Pipewire instead of Pulseaudio in Slackware 15
https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...-a-4175693980/

LibreOffice in Slackware.
https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...re-4175647812/

Xfce for Slackware Users

https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...rs-4175634079/

All Things KDE5/Plasma for Slackware Users.
https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...rs-4175670109/

The Latest Kernel Release.

https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...se-4175597503/

VirtualBox for Slackware Users

https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...rs-4175689027/

Latest changelog for slackware-current

https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...nt-4175698890/

Maybe it will be possible to make a request?
Other proposals are, of course, welcome

I like the rise of threads of immediate interest followed by their inevitable decline rather than a fixed thread with many, many pages to wade through. But good on those people willing to carefully tend such threads...

I'd go for none myself (seems like there are enough already), although it isn't currently an option:

In my opinion, when there are more than a few, the sticky threads don't even stand out anymore. It just causes clutter, and then each of those threads gets many, many pages of posts and it's too time consuming to read anyway. There really ought not to be permanent sticky threads unless it's just a few important ones with information in the first post.

Agreed. Also almost every one of those threads will percolate to the top anyway due to regular activity. The kernel or changelog threads will pop up naturally when there is actually new news. Works better that way.

Most of those have enough activity so I don't see a need to be sticky. In fact a couple of threads that are sticky have enough activity that they pretty much stay at the top.

I use Subscribed Threads to help me keep track of threads I may want to go back to.

You left out None as a choice.

I voted for the Xfce and KDE threads. Or maybe make a new, single thread along the lines "Slackware on the desktop" or sth...?
