Slamd64. No kernel modules found

I am trying out Slamd64 and having trouble with getting a new kernel to work.

The kernel is essentially the generic config but with Athlon64 specified and with Local Version 080302 so as not to overwrite the old modules.

I get the following error on booting

Quote:
No kernel modules founds for Linux 2.6.22.8080302
mount : mounting /dev/sdb3 on /mnt failed
ERROR: No /sbin/init found on root dev
not mounted. Trouble ahead
Kernel panic not syncing
Now there is a directory lib/modules/2.6.22.8080302

I do not think this is an initrd problem, wouldn't that have hit earlier in the boot process?

Forgive my idiocy. Of course it was an initrd problem. It needed

Quote:
mkinitrd -c -k 2.6.22.8080302 -m ext3 -f ext3 -r /dev/sdb3
