Still having problems on this hp 17-CA3035CL system with Slackware64 15.0 installed and this may be related to my last problem "Slackware64 15.0 Digikam" post on 1/4/23 (not sure).
When I tried the normal "slackpkg update", "slackpkg info", including my attempt at running "slackpkg -checkgpg=off update", I get the following:
Quote
bash-5.1# slackpkg info *.*
info: Ignoring extra arguments: MyInstallFiles.txt My_Rsync_Bkup_cmdline.txt My_Slak64-15.0_FILELIST.txt Need-to-remember-tip4Slak.txt Objdump+grep_Files.txt VirtualBox_Manage_Fix.txt

slackpkg was upgrades or slackpkg+ was temporary disabled
We need to force 'slackpkg update' to re-enable slackpkg+
Then you can re-run 'info' command

I have also run "DEBUG=1 bash -x slackpkg update 2>&1 | tee slackpkg.trace" ((thanks to zerouno 8/10/22 post)) but that is rather lengthy but if needed I can post that also.
Not sure where to go with this as I have searched Google, LQ Wiki, docs.slackware.com, and a few other sites. If this is due to a lib or package that should not be installed on the system, is there a script that can be run to list all files or packages that would not be part of the standard Slackware64 15.0 install?
Thanks for any insight into this..
