As of now:

##slackware-help on freenode has three users.

##slackware-help on libera has twenty-one users.

The People Have Spoken :-)

I'm going to continue hanging out on freenode for a while just to point users towards libera, but it seems to be over.

Wow, I had heard that freenode was having problems recently but I didn't realize how toxic the new management was. Hell with them, off to libera chat.

That's kind of you, ttk! Libera is the home of Slackware now.

CRUX initially had no plans to move, but it looks like even they have now.

I think the correct name of the channel is ##slackware (with a double "#").

Channel modes set on ##slackware are:

Code:
mode/##slackware +nrt
I suspect you have bumped up against the 'r' mode which requires you to have your nick registered with Libera.

Edit: Posted too early, chanserv says that #slackware is in fact set:

Code:
Mode lock  : +if ##slackware
So if you are not invited (i) you are redirected to ##slackware...

@ponce, @andrew.46 thanks, I managed to join ##slackware.

When I first tried, I checked both channels. #slackware asked for invitation and ##slackware required a registered nickname. It's been ages since I used NickServ (and irc in general), so it took some time to refresh my memory.

https://twitter.com/Dinnerbone/statu...69024643686401 Dinnerbone, of Mojang, was snooping around and found this. Plot thickens... (Might be old news to some. Apologies, if so.)
