So writing an step by step guide would be okay?

I found there are more steps required than just sync the git and have an local copy of 14.2 (for example).

So i figured, after I ask, a simple howto could be handy for someone?

Also, will it ever be supported to generate an image ready to be dded to and flash volume?

If the Wiki page is not sufficient to understand how you generate a Live ISO from scratch, perhaps I should expand that article? You can write about what you are missing in that page, and then I can see how I can add that information to the Wiki.

You lost me there. It has been possible from the start, to use 'dd' and copy the ISO to a flash medium like a USB thumbdrive and thus make it into a bootable Slackware Live medium. The only caveat is that the medium will be read-only. It is a limitation imposed by the fact that you copy a read-only ISO filesystem onto a flash drive - and then it will still be a ISO filesystem (iso9660) on the flash drive. That is why I wrote "iso2usb.sh" to create a writable Live flash medium.
