Maybe we should have a sticky thread like this, that way everyone can post that slackware is awesome, without starting many threads. I agree, slackware is the best.

Slack is one of the best. I started out with Caldera Linux, then Slackware & then Debian. I also tried a bunch of others, such as Red Hat and Mandrake, but ended up back with Slack & Debian. Then after awhile, I seem to have tired of fiddling around with the so-called harder distros and went straight to Debian. It does have a nice package management system, along with a whole lot of apps. Now I've been using Mandriva since around 2008 version as my main OS. I still dual boot with other distros, one being SourceMage.
