Slackware Book

Hey,

I have spent the last few weeks playing around with different distros, and have come to the conclusion that I want to stick with Slack.

I am not always connected to the web, so I can not just search for answers to any question I have.

What I am looking to do is purchase a book that contains a good amount of information about Slackware. If anyone has any suggestions, let them fly.

Thanks,
Matt

Try http://store.slackware.com

Slackware Linux Essentials is ok but not all the commands work, some stuff has been updated since version 7.0
and this same book is totally accessible on the net at a link on this site, this way you can check it out first...

Also for Linux in general, a good read is Running Linux by O'reilly. Since Slack is "original" distro, many thinkgs from that book work in Slack.
Hope that helps.
Also a good reference book, in case you get lost, is Linux in a Nutshell also by O'Reilly.
