slackware 13.0 64 bit install from usb thumbdrive

Ok well ive turned my usb drive into a slackware install cd using unetbootin and the iso downloaded from the slackware page.

I get just about through the install when I hit an error trying to install lilo. Then when I reboot without the usb drive the system hangs after the boot screen seems like the mbr on my hd wasn't set up correctly. Any tips getting lilo to install?
