Here's a link to an ftp server that has the Slackware 10 ISO's. As I have discovered all the mirrors on the Slackware Mirrors only have the file to start downloading from bittorrent and althought the concept is good I can't get good download speeds. So this is for anyone having the same problem
if you just type " slackware iso " in google you will find plenty of mirrors with iso's ,
all around the world.
and you put " xs4all.nl "( good provider btw. ) as a source, but i don't think it will give a good bandwith, when your in Australia or so.
People from everywhere read this forum so, better find a nearby source.
You winked... but still ... just so the young ones here don't get any ideas..
It actually does increase your download speed. However you have to know your internet connection too.. to much upload can bog your modem down for the download.
For example. . .
At around 6k/s upload my download only goes up to about 80k/s.. but if I increase the upload to 25k/s the download will push 350k/s. Now, lastly, if I push my upload to 45k/s or 60k/s my download goes down because my modem is working so hard for the upload.
BTW my max download is around 400k/s and upload is around 120k/s... and that's not on burst, just average.
Myth or not. . . you should not leach.
Bit Torrent takes up 35% of the web's traffic these days... so remember to keep your torrents open after the download is complete. At least until you give as much as you have taken.
