slackpkg update

I must have done something really bad.

I was running slackpkg update. Then I did slackpkg install-new. Then when I ran slackpkg upgrade-all I had a huge amount of updates. I went forward with the upgrade.

At the end it told me that it upgraded slackpkg. I tried to run slackpkg clean-system but it said I need to run slackpkg update. I ran slackpkg update but it says "The package list is missing".

I can't figure out what I did wrong. I looked back at my history of commands and everything looks OK.

Does anyone know how to renew the package list?

I'm really stumped as to what went wrong.

Thanks.

if you upgrade slackpkg you have to run "slackpkg update" after having upgraded it because the package list needs to be re-dowloaded, it's normal.

And say "yes"
Code:
No changes in ChangeLog.txt between your last update and now.
Do you really want to download all other files (y/N)?
To force download

Thanks ponce for your reply. I've run slackpkg update. It tells me there is no change in ChangeLog.txt. I reply "n" to reloading all pkgs.

Should I reply "y"? Or does this maybe have something to do with templates?

Thanks. I replied to ponce before I saw your reply.
