slackpkg sed/stdout error

Thanks ahead of time for anyone's help. I have an error that doesn't actually stop me from doing anything that I know of, but I would still like to fix it.

This is my 3rd installation of Slackware64-14.1 (not including the Raspberry Pi) and it's the first time I've seen it. I bought a refurbished x220 to replace my single core athlon ancient laptop. Upon upgrading for the first time I noticed an error. When I issue the slackpkg update command it replies with:

sed: couldn't flush stdout: Broken pipe

It then proceeds with the update as normal. This only happens when I issue the command upon first booting up. If I issue the command again, there is no sed error.

Any ideas? Couldn't find it with my google-fu.

Thanks again.

I'm wondering if you've got a typo, or more than one line uncommented, in /etc/slackpkg/mirrors, or grep is broken on that box. This isn't just a wild guess: the first sed command in /usr/sbin/slackpkg pipes your mirrors file into grep.

To find out exactly where this error is coming from, you can execute slackpkg like this (kill it as soon as you've spotted the error, which may be as early as the seventh line)

Code:
sh -x /usr/sbin/slackpkg update

Well, I was trying to find where that first sed command was. I guess I kept skipping over it. So I went in and just changed the mirror site from the ftp to the http just in case I did something funny. And it works! Thanks, if this pops up again I may revisit the thread but I will mark it solved.
