This has been fixed upstream and will likely make it into Slackware soon.

For now, if you want, you can simply edit that file and remove the continue in line 892. This sed command will do that.

sed -i '892d' /usr/libexec/slackpkg/core-functions.sh

Hello ALL , As of slackpkg-15.0.5-noarch-1 (& Definately earlier) the concern mentioned in this thread is fixed .
