I don't know if this is the place to report this but the link to source for gtkimageview is dead. I emailed the maintainer 4 days ago and haven't gotten a reply and when I just checked it was still pointing to a defunct address.
Hopefully someone here associated with Slackbuilds can contact either Larry Hajali or directly fix the broken link.
I had already found the source myself, I just figured people would want the slackbuilds packages working properly. I actually found the source through a Fedora link I found doing a Google search lol.
it's just that the md5sum of the tarball on fedora historical repository, for some reason, won't match the one we have on slackbuilds (besides the sources being apparently the same inside of the two tarballs, checked with diff): not knowing why, I have self hosted the tarball with the md5sum that matches and, as I wrote above, committed that on my branch.
I guess the MD5 isn't relevant to the SlackBuild then, I used the Fedora source and it built and installed and runs without any errors.
But that is really not important I just wanted to alert someone from Slackbuilds after not getting a response from the package maintainer, about the dead link. I did here and also after your advise on their IRC channel.
