[SOLVED] SlackBuild for Digikam-6.1.0 under Plasma5

Looking for a SlackBuild script for Digikam-6.1.0. Back in the 5.x days I used Willysr's scripts (and all other info) from his repository. Then with 6.0 it got incorporated into Plasma5. That seems to be on hold for the time being. I thought about extracting the relevant bits from Eric's Plasma5 build scripts but after looking through them decided there must be an easier way. Has anyone built 6.1.0 to run under Slack64-current and the last build of Plasma5 (from February). Thanks for any info.

After downloading a new digikam tarball, run

Code:

./kde.SlackBuild applications-extra:digikam

and wait for the package to be created in /tmp/kde_build/

Thank you Eric. I was totally unaware of that post on your blog - it is now bookmarked. That really makes life easier.

Edit - I'm gobsmacked. Built the 6.1.0 version and it works perfectly. Going to have a serious look into your scripts and learn something. Thank you again.
