Question slack81.zip install

Just wondering if anyone out there has installed this distro.I've got it mostly working but I need to install kernel modules for kernel 2.6 so I can get my pcmcia modem and ppp working. My machine has no cd or network cabability so I've installed files from floppies.Does anyone out there know which specific modules I need to get cardmanager and ppp working??
Thanks in advance for any help.
