server motherboard died...crap

( home server..mail/http)it was a slow death. days, hours minutes, line(on the screen). bios said drive is dead,
took drives to an old box and all is fine.

but...

this box has one nic, and shows up as eth1(one nic inside)
i cant get to mail or http server anymore.
hostname doesn't show at router/nat(it's blank)

thinkin that the eth1 needs to e changed to 0?
maybe pull the card/nic, reboot, put it back in will reset?

hope everyone has a great holiday here in da US

thanks

Remove /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules (or edit the file by updating the MAC) and reboot. The nic should fall into place.
