Right... I have to add to this tho and hopefully someone can clarify. Is this actually running in FULL SATA mode? Is this some generic half-assed work around to emulate it in SCSI mode? Am I actually pulling all the performance I can out of my new 120gb SATA drive? I can't use HDPARM on this hard drive because it is now a SCSI for all intents and purposes.... Would apprecieate any feed back.... Why even put it under SCSI? Why not put it under ATAPI? That makes no sense at all to me and tells me that it's really just a hack....

Linux treats USB and parrallelport drives as SCSI also.
