Segmentation Fault with OpenVpn

I just did a fresh install of Slackware 11.0 on my notebook and compiled a 2.6.13 kernel. So, I installed Openvpn through a tgz packages I obtained from linuxpackages and when I try to run

Code:
openvpn client.conf

where client.conf is my client config file
I get a segmentation fault.

I've installed support for tunnelling in the kernel, not sure where to go with this. Any help would be gladly appreciated on what I should check or look for.

Just download openvpn ( www.openvpn.net ) and lzo ( http://www.oberhumer.com/opensource/...zo-2.02.tar.gz )

1 -Compile/install lzo.

./configure --prefix=/usr
make
make install

2 - Compile/install openvpn.

./configure --with-lzo-header=/usr/include --with-lzo-lib=/usr/lib/
make
make install
