Segfault in libnvidia-tls.so.304.137

I found this (accidentally) in /var/log/messages
Quote:
kernel: [ 42.369099] gtk-query-immod[1065]: segfault at aa2bb314 ip 00000000f64cdcaa sp 00000000ffb42608 error 4
in libnvidia-tls.so.304.137[f64cd000+3000]
I am scratching my head for two reasons: the nvidia 304.137 is now legacy driver, I am almost sure that in previous install of Slackware I didn't have such troubles (or I didn't know). Maybe I should reinstall driver? Any suggestions? There is no harm done: except possibly I can't play games under wine, and switching to console time to time makes screen blank.

This is where you should rebuild the driver with debugging symbols and then get a backtrace with gdb...but since its proprietary and a legacy driver nvidia doesn't care about anymore your best bet is probably to use nouveau instead... At least then you can talk to real devs when things go wrong.
