SDDM Avatars

Can the user avatars in SDDM be disabled and replaced with a simple text box login?

Thanks.

You can disable avatars by setting
Code:
DisableAvatarsThreshold=0
in /etc/sddm.conf

Thanks, but does not work for me with the default breeze theme

Your reply helped me find a beginning solution -- change the theme. Looks like the other three themes that come with 15.0 support a text box rather than avatars.

But only a beginning solution. The DM does not seem easily configurable without modifying the packaged theme source files. I would like to remove the unneeded Layout button and modify the Welcome message and date/clock formats.
