Since s390 is a dead project, maybe just remove it entirely at this point?

Why to warn? There are thousands of similar sites all over the network. Before reading this post I didn't even know such website exists. Meanwhile most of us are adults. Warn who? Those who watch such thing wolud be even interested to go to this site. But whatever. This must be coincidence with some slang word which meaning is clear for people who use this word or abbreviation. What kind of really stupid person could decide to put porn on all Slackware web cite? Is it kind of revenge? Displeased and disappointed Slackware user. Porn cite aimed at Slackware users. Sound like joke of the month.

When domains are not renewed, they're - without exception, in my experience - renewed by companies - usually to sell them back to the previous 'owner', or to use them to place advertising on whilst the domain/host name still has SEO value. Web sites linked from slackware.com have (at least when I was told ~2 years ago) have inherited SEO because slackware.com has been around for so long and is linked from many sites.

Do you really think this was intentional?

I remember slack 390 - and I remember the maintainer, who is still active elsewhere.

Let me google that for you: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IBM_System/390 Indeed that was Slackware for this kind of machine's architecture.

Slackware 390 was Slackware for IBM mainframes.

What obviously happened was that the project died, the domain was allowed to expire, and a porn site bought the domain.
