Updates to the installer might not happen, especially dhcpcd and dropbear. I think, if memory serves, Eric mentioned why as there were problems with the newer packages.

Orbit2 from /extras/google-chrome can probably be put out to /pasture. Gconf builds without it just fine and Orbit2 has been undeveloped for a while now.

Neither of those programs have been included under /extras/google-chrome/ since 13.37. 14.0 removed those but added google-chrome-pam-solibs, which was removed in 14.1. Both 14.1 and -current just have google-chrome.SlackBuild, slack-desc, and README.

Localization

Please include Localization during setup with the Timezone selection.

I would like "export LANG=en_US" in /etc/profile.d/lang.sh changed to the user's preferred language.

It is not sufficient to change the $LANG *after* installation?

In addition, you might be interested in Super Date Format.

I first tried Super Date Format. It changes the date format in the Data and Received columns. The date format within the email and in printed emails is not changed.

I've removed Super Date Format, and changing the LANG environment variable in /etc/profile.d/lang.sh changes the date format throughout Thunderbird. It would be nice if this could be changed during installation via the Setup scripts.
