d/meson-0.59.3-x86_64-1.txz: Upgraded.
Code:
Mon Oct 25 19:30:42 UTC 2021
d/meson-0.60.0-x86_64-1.txz: Upgraded.
We never have 0.53.4
EDIT : 0.59.4, of course
The safest way is probably to go back to a version we already had?
Which doesn't prevent to upgrade later

read slow man . .. 0.59.4
we return from 0.60 branch to safety 0.59 branch , but the latest we have on 0-59 is 0.59.3 but some days ago (when we are playing under 0.60) , released 0.59.4 , we dont have never , but is a FIX RELEASE for 0.59 branch.
we can have if want meson 0.59.3000000 , because the branch is 0-59 and only fixes releses , go under 0.60 is the problematic way , cause have some big changes braking things.
All releases for 0.59 branch are safe way , cause are only FIX releases , nothing new, only bugfix versions.

I would have thought you had corrected my typo yourself. ;-)

Reason: correctness
I'm still trying to get comfortable with this platform I'm so sorry..
If this is right place for "Requests for -current (14.2-->15.0)", I'd suggest setting pipewire-pulse over pulseaudio totally.
I'm maintainer of player and I'm already working on it's library for 24bit floats which pulseaudio downscales to 16bit audio quality;
Long story short, less crackles, higher bitrate capability and some more flexibility, less resource consuming..
It's really promising.

I suggest to post in this thread from now on only requests aiming to solve issues like major bugs or security fixes to prepare the release of Slackware version 15: if requests of new or upgraded software just to get new or enhanced features continue to be fulfilled, a Slackware stable version could be delayed indefinitely. Unless a switch to a "rolling release" model be planned, that I haven't seen announced (yet?).

I wish this to happens, BUT I strongly doubt that this will happen on Slackware 15.0
Honestly, I believe that will be very useful if the PulseAudio package will have the PA server split on a separate package: pulseaudio-server, which package can be conveniently blacklisted by those who uses the PipeWire as audio server.
I don't think that 4.5.0 is the unstable version, as they changed the numbering scheme afaik, but maybe I am wrong. I read some time ago that there will be multiple versions of the gtk 4.x series where each one will have its own upgrades and features.
