If I remember correctly there was a problem with 2.14.93 so it was reverted. This new development release came out last week. Maybe its worth a try, or just wait till the next stable release.

I second this. But I note that PV hasn't yet updated the email to welcome the user to Slackware 15.0 as opposed to 14.2, so I would suggest that when he gets around to that he might as well remove the Linux Counter Project email from the default mailspool as well.
