I'm unable to reproduce these issues here. Both eliloconfig and efibootmgr are working as expected.

It has happened before but it cleared up the next kernel upgrade. EFI works in mysterious ways sometimes.

Maybe it's an issue with your machine's firmware.

Please provide the output of this command, typed as root:
Code:
efibootmgr -v

Edit:
I tried using intel's IPDT because someones computer was having issues so I tried to boot it and it added entries. Whenever eliloconfig adds Slackware back to the boot order I'll try and clean stuff up using efibootmgr. I noticed it has options for cleaning the menu. Thanks for mentioning cleaning it up Didier Spaier. I've been holding off from opening my PC and resetting the bios out of laziness.

Hmm... I don't see a boot entry for Slackware but I see one for rEFInd, and also duplicate boot entries. Some cleaning in this menu wouldn't hurt, I think.

Today new kernel or next week new kernel? Never realized kernel can change so fast (or change to be so fat).
