Removing packages series

On Slackware 15.0, some package series, like y/, can be removed completely with

Code:
#slackpkg remove y
this, however, does not work for all package series, i.e.,

Code:
#slackpkg remove e
removes emacspeak but leaves emacs untouched. The extreme case is

Code:
#slackpkg remove k
which, according to the slackpkg's man page, should remove the Linux kernel source code, but echos

Quote:
Looking for k in package list. Please wait... DONE

The file(s) k can't be removed - package not installed.
Is this a bug or expected behavior?

All of this works perfectly well in current
So, it seems that some adjustments have been made
